Chris is frustrated with all of it. He has tolerated a lot for a long time, so his irritation is understandable. He hates not being able to do what he used to, he longs for more energy, despises hospital restrictions and the awful food. He is sick of pills and IVs, doctor appointments, and all the rest.
I get it. But I worry too.
He's not giving up, but he is more down than at any point so far.
Alex and I hung out with him this afternoon and he definitely cheered up some. But the docs wanted him to stay at least one more night, which just made him mad.
I hope Chris can get some of this Spring Air while it lasts. His crabbiness is well founded! The garden needs him.

ReplyDeleteI hope Chris got to go home! I know how you feel when he feels tired and defeated. It's a helpless feeling. Keep your chin up. Hopefully being home will raise his spirits. -Pat
