Chris remains confused, although he is super good at covering it for brief periods. So much so that he has already fooled two doctors for a bit. This reminds me of his mom and how she compensated for her advancing dementia. She was a great lady.
It's not clear why his mental status isn't improving. The calcium has decreased but not all the way to normal. They will get an MRI of his head later.
Also on the agenda is 2 bags of platelets, intrathecal chemo, eval of spine fluid, and some regular old chemo (vincristine) to hammer at the leukemia. The fellow said tests will help them guess how long Chris will need to stay here.
We all agree that the goal is still to try to get him to Penn.
