Hypercalcemia

Too much calcium can cause some of Chris's symptoms, including his befuddlement. So, he was admitted to the hospital this morning to get his calcium down and to see what's the cause of its rise. Head CT will also be done and bone density.

High dose steroids will be started to try to hinder the leukemia.

I know he hates to be in the hospital, but I am relieved he is getting help. His recent decline was alarming.

I checked: the Penn study is not running yet.
